based in Bundoora.
We focus on providing supportive care for individuals with emotional and other mental health challenges. We work with children, adolescents and adults to support their wellbeing.


About Karen

Karen is a registered clinical psychologist and member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi) with experience in providing a broad range of psychological services across varied settings such as hospitals, schools and clinics.
​
Karen has a strong interest in working with children, adolescents and adults with various psychological concerns and needs. She adopts a warm, empathetic and collaborative approach to provide individuals with a safe space to explore their experiences, heal, build on their strengths and values whilst making meaningful changes in their lives.
​
Drawing on evidence-based treatment approaches, Karen incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), attachment theory and mindfulness based interventions in her work.
With experience in treating a range of presentations such as depression, anxiety, trauma related presentations, behavioural concerns in children, anger management, stress, adjustment to life events, chronic pain, health concerns, grief and relationship issues, Karen is passionate about tailoring interventions to meet each person's unique needs. She is able to support individuals funded privately or by Medicare, Workcover, TAC, self or plan managed NDIS clients.
